They provide support to local fire and rescue agencies during the

Must
be a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization
Must have been in operation at least two years
Operating budgets $100,000 or less must submit a copy of their annual tax return form #990 in lieu of audited financial statements
Operating budgets over $100,000 must submit annual audited financial statement
Must have an active, rotating Board of Directors
Must have a charter of incorporation and by-laws
Must have licensing and accreditation
Must have a no fee or sliding fee scale policy
Must have a board adopted policy of non-discrimination for hiring and services.
