Alexander
County Partnership for Children has positive impact!

In
2007 the Alexander County Partnership for Children successfully
created and implemented three new projects that positively
impact the Alexander County community. These include
a grant project for the child care community that will help
to ensure high quality child care in Alexander County, a
community needs assessment that will identify family support
and child health resources that families would like
in the county and a program evaluation project
that ensures all Partnership activities meet the highest
benchmarks of excellence.
In 2007 the Alexander County Partnership for Children was
recognized at the Smart Start National Conference as a Smart
Start agency of excellence in North Carolina. The
Partnership received the award for exceeding the high performing criteria for
ensuring children are placed in high quality child care.
